Joe Edwards & Liz Edwards have been been licensed Realtors for a combined 50 years; with a vast majority of their business originating from past clients and referrals. Our unique philosophy stands above most Realtors; saying "it is far more important to spend time building relationships with clients than spending time to promote one's self." We firmly believe that service is "life-long" not "transaction-long". We want our clients to feel comfortable contacting us anytime for advice, recommendations, opinions or just to chat. Real Estate is not just a career for Joe, it's in his blood. He has personally witnessed Portland transform from a city the average person could not locate on a map to a city with its own identity and culture. In fact, Joe's family was the largest home builder in Portland from the 60's through the mid-80's. The Edwards developed some of the most sought-after and prestigious neighborhoods in Portland Metro area. Examples of neighborhoods bearing the Edwards' name include Rock Creek and Terra Linda in NW Portland, Sorrento Ridge and Hyland Hills in SW Beaverton, The Edwards Meadows in Hillsboro and Hidden Springs Ranch in West Linn - to name a few.
Liz Edwards attributes her success and growth to her tenacious work ethic and the belief that you reap what you sow. She is fortunate and thankful that she reaps the rewards of referrals, endless Thank-You s and continued business. In 1988, she relocated to the beautiful state of Oregon from Northern California. Liz has two grown children, Jessica and John. Outside of real estate Liz enjoys spending time with her two Shitzus , Mr. Miyagi and Mimi, as well as her nine year old Quarter Horse, Will. When it's me-time, you can typically find her riding or grooming Will. To Liz, this is a special time because it was an activity that Liz and her dad used to do when she was young. He is no longer with us and spending time with her horse reminds her that life is short, so she makes sure that she enjoys life to the fullest
Joe is also an Oregonian through and through. He has lived in Oregon his entire life (with the exception of experiencing Japanese culture for a few years after college). Joe graduated from the University of Oregon in 1992 and views himself as a lifelong student with goal of bettering himself as well as those around him.

ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Joe and I had met on campus many years ago and thanks to social media we reconnected. When the crazy sellers market hit the PNW spring 2021, we invited Joe to our NW home to consult with us on the selling process. Joe provided us expert guidance on preparing our home, staging, valuation and what to expect throughout the sales process. We had a "unique" property that was not your easy, slam dunk sale. Joe arranged all of the details in a timely and effective manner. He provided us with a detailed road map of the marketing of our property. Although the market was very hot and fast moving at the time, Joe treated us as if we were his only clients. His greatest quality is his communications!
